Refurbished office cubicles are pre-owned cubicles that have been cleaned and touched up with paint and/or fabric. These are sometimes referred to as a "hybrid" product - a mixture of remanufactured and "as-is" components. For example, the laminate worksurfaces and trim paint on a set of used workstations may still look good, but the panel fabric has stains or rips. We can refurbish the panels by replacing the fabric with new material and just give the rest of the furniture a good cleaning. The end product will look close to new and the price savings will be greater than fully remanufactured product. Since more of the original furniture is reused, there is less impact on the environment, too.
Used furniture, also referred to by the "As-Is" name, describes furniture that hasn't been altered or repaired. It is resold to the next end user "as-is", without any improvements other than minor cleaning. Compared to refurbished office cubicles, used cubicles are the least expensive alternative and the best for the environment.
